PULLMAN, Wash. – CEO Magazine ranked online MBA and executive MBA programs from Washington State University’s Carson College of Business as No. 27 and No. 26, respectively, in their 2023 rankings of global recognition, moving up in rankings from No. 34 and No. 55 the previous year.

CEO Magazine has been showcasing top business schools from around the globe since it first launched in 2008. In 2012, the publication launched its annual Global MBA Rankings, profiling MBA, executive MBA and online MBA programs.

This year, CEO Magazine reached out to business schools across North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the BRICS—which comprises the leading market economies of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. Rankings were based on data from 180 schools offering 338 different programs in 27 countries (89 online, 90 executive MBA and 159 full-time and part-time MBA programs).

“Our online MBA programs are the top choice in the Pacific Northwest for students seeking to enhance their business education” said Chip Hunter, college dean. “The high level of flexibility and quality of our programming enable students to contribute to their workplace in real-time as they develop the business acumen and leadership that will advance their careers.”

“The Carson College of Business strives to provide high-quality, affordable MBA programs that are 100% accessible online,” said Cheryl Oliver, associate dean for professional programs. “I appreciate the work of our faculty, staff and partners who ensure the quality of our programs and enable them to be recognized internationally.”

“It’s great to see the Carson College of Business master’s programs recognized for some clear and profound reasons: the quality of our faculty, the excellence of our delivery and the development and diversity of our students,” said Matt Beer, director of the college’s master’s programs.
