UNLAWFUL USE OF WEAPON
Erik G. Jimenez, 18, of the 200 block of Longwood Terrace, Mundelein and Erik S. Garcia, 18, of the 400 block of Shady Lane, Mundelein were both charged March 11 with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon after they were seen leaving their vehicle on the adjacent Edens Expressway and ran into the Edens Plaza on the 3200 block of Lake Avenue, police said. They were transported to bond court with no further information available.
BURGLARY
Clothing, jewelry and electronics were reported stolen March 10 from a residence on the 1700 block of Elmwood Avenue, police said. The residence was opened after a side door was pried open.
THEFT
Several boards from a garbage storage shed were reported stolen March 11 from a business on the 800 block of Green Bay Road, police said.
An unlocked Mongoose bicycle was reported stolen March 11 from the 1500 block of Sheridan Road, police said.
BURGLARY FROM AUTO
Two checkbooks were reported stolen March 14 from a 2016 Buick Enclave parked on the 200 block of Thelin Court, police said.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS
A 2017 Lexus RX350 was reported illegally entered March 16 as it was parked on the 500 block of Ridge Road, police said. Nothing was reported stolen.
DECEPTIVE PRACTICES
An individual reported March 6 personal information was used to obtain a small business loan under fraudulent circumstances, police said.
An individual reported March 14 of an unsuccessful attempt to use personal information to open a line of credit, police said.
