Michael Engel has joined White & Case LLP as a partner in the global antitrust practice in London, the firm said Wednesday.

Engel, who joins from Kirkland & Ellis, advises on foreign direct investment approvals and multi-jurisdictional mergers that require merger control approval from regulators, according to White & Case.

He also advises on follow-on damages actions before the UK’s Competition Appeal Tribunal and national EU member state courts as well as on appeals of European Commission decisions to the Court of Justice of the European Union, White & Case said.
