According to documents previously submitted to the town, the new facility is being designed for Fairview USA Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Toronto-based Fairview Ltd., an international manufacturer and distributor of fittings and hoses. The company’s head office and domestic sales operation is currently located at 3777 Commerce Court in Wheatfield, but would occupy more than half of the proposed new facility, making it the anchor tenant.

Additionally, Advanced Design Group is seeking preliminary site plan review and an area variance for construction of a new Starbucks coffee shop at 2700 Military Road, on the west side of Military between Packard and Recovery roads, with additional site work on the adjacent parcels at 2590 and 2540 Military. And the town Planning Board will evaluate a request by David Smith Sr. Enterprises LLC, 10175 NFB LLC and 10195 NFB LLC to combine lots at 10195 Niagara Falls Blvd., on the south side of the street, behind David Chevrolet Buick and to the west of Williams Road.

In Cheektowaga, the town Planning Board on Nov. 9 will review a proposal by Delta Sonic to demolish the existing former Dunn Tire building at 2295 Walden Ave., just east of the current site, to be replaced with a 13,165-square-foot indoor vacuum station, with 16 customer stalls and a rooftop solar array. The project will also include new paving and curbing, drainage, utilities, lighting, landscaping and a new ground sign on Union Road.

And in West Seneca, also on Nov. 9, Quattro Development is still pursuing construction of a single-story, three-bay Take 5 Oil Change in a 1,610-square-foot facility at 1940 Ridge Road, while Frank Walland wants to build a 950-square-foot addition to an existing building at 1303 Union Road. Meanwhile, Green Philosophy LLC is seeking a special-use permit for a state-licensed cannabis store at 101 Slade Ave.
