Webflow Review (2024): Pricing, Plans And Features

[ad_1]

Most web builders preach about their customization options, but Webflow does it. It’s known for being extremely customizable, making it an incredible option for creatives, perfectionists, or detailed or design-oriented people. Webflow gives anyone the power to create a stunning website, complete with parallax scrolling and animations—without touching a single line of code.

Similar to most website builders, Webflow supports e-commerce brands as well as freelancers, creatives, and other small business owners. It gives small—to medium-sized e-commerce brands the same level of design capabilities and other competitive perks, including no transaction fees.

Pricing

Webflow offers three different types of plans: Site plans, e-commerce plans and Workspace plans.

To publish and design a non-e-commerce site, you’ll need a Site plan. A free plan will let you test out Webflow’s design features, but you won’t be able to get a custom domain unless you pay INR 1,169.38 ($14) a month (if billed annually) for the Basic plan.

If you plan to use Webflow for a blog or content site, such as not only a portfolio site, you’ll need the CMS plan, which runs INR 1,921.12 ($23) per month (when billed annually) and supports 2,000 content management items as well as three content editors. More significant content sites can opt for the Business plan, which is INR 3,257.55 ($39) per month (when billed annually) and supports 10,000 content management items and 10 content editors.

Custom Enterprise Site plans are available upon request.

For e-commerce plans, there is no free option. The least expensive plan is INR 2,422.28 ($29) per month and comes with a 2% transaction fee. The other plans, however, come with a 0% transaction fee, which is more competitive than what similar companies offer.

The midtier e-commerce plan, Plus, is INR 6,181 ($74) per month and supports up to 1,000 items. If you have more than 1,000 items, you’ll need the Advanced plan, which supports 3,000 items and unlimited sales volume, and costs INR 17,707.72 ($212) per month (if billed annually).

Webflow’s Workspace plans are designed to work with Site plans, but instead of design, they focus on site permissions and collaboration features. They start at INR 0 for one designer.

The paid Workspace plans give you the power to add more collaborators and grant certain permissions to different team members, which can be especially useful for a larger content site, web design agency or e-commerce brand.

Advanced Design

Webflow is known for its advanced design features: parallax scrolling, animations and micro-interactions. With Webflow’s design builder, you can create more dynamic web browsing experiences with interactive elements, such as text or images that glide across the page.

Templates

Webflow has hundreds of templates if you don’t want to design completely from scratch. You can choose from e-commerce, personal, or business templates and customize them to your exact specifications. Every template is mobile-responsive, and Webflow’s editor lets you edit your site’s mobile and desktop looks.

Paid templates range from INR 1587.01 ($19) to INR 12,445.52 ($149). Paying for a web template can help you achieve the look you want for your site more quickly and accurately.

SEO

Webflow comes with robust built-in SEO tools. Not only does it give you the ability to edit titles, URLs and meta descriptions, but you can also create 301 redirects, edit your robots.txt file and automatically generate a sitemap.

Integrations

Webflow integrates with dozens of significant services, including but not limited to Gmail, HubSpot, Mailchimp, SoundCloud and Zapier. The downside is that most integrations are not one-click, requiring time and effort to set up and configure.

Fortunately, the Webflow University help center does an excellent job of explaining how to configure each integration. Some tutorials have screenshots included to make them even more accessible to follow.

Security

All Webflow sites come with a free SSL certificate and DDoS protection. You’ll also get unlimited site backups, meaning your work will be backed up if something goes wrong.

E-Commerce

For e-commerce companies, Webflow offers several attractive features. Regarding payments, Webflow lets you accept e-commerce payments from all major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay and PayPal. Sales taxes are calculated automatically with TaxJar’s API, so you don’t need to crunch any numbers yourself.

For marketing, Webflow lets you have complete control over the design of your receipt and order notification emails so that they match your brand’s look and feel exactly. You can also connect your site to Facebook, Instagram and Google to run ad campaigns and create shoppable posts more easily.
