“As the prominence of crypto advances, we are excited to launch our user-friendly platform catering to crypto enthusiasts as well as novices, enabling all to explore and deepen their understanding of crypto and its landscape.”

In a significant leap for crypto asset monitoring, the Gillmore Centre for Financial Technology at Warwick Business School (WBS) has unveiled its Crypto Dashboard.

The platform aims to revolutionize the way both crypto enthusiasts and newcomers interact with various cryptocurrency assets by offering real-time insights and advanced analytics.

Crypto Dashboard features AI Investment Analyst for ETF and Crypto portfolios

The dashboard is designed by leading academics and is accessible to the public. It includes a suite of features, ranging from market overviews that paint a comprehensive picture of the overall crypto landscape to an AI Investment Analyst. The latter assists users in forming reports to select optimal Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and cryptocurrencies for portfolio construction, complete with expected performance metrics under varying scenarios.

Ram Gopal, Director of the Gillmore Centre for Financial Technology at WBS, stated: “As the prominence of crypto advances, we are excited to launch our user-friendly platform catering to crypto enthusiasts as well as novices, enabling all to explore and deepen their understanding of crypto and its landscape.”

One noteworthy feature is the dashboard’s advanced analytics, particularly the replication function. This allows users to model portfolios that mirror specific market behaviors or targets. Ram Gopal elaborated, “This, for example, can be used to figure out how to set up a portfolio that mimics inflation.”

DeFi and Digital Currencies Conference in London starts today

The dashboard is slated for its public debut at the Centre’s upcoming DeFi and Digital Currencies Conference, to be held from October 27-28 at WBS London at The Shard. The conference boasts an impressive lineup of scholars and key speakers from institutions like the Bank of England, Bank of Canada, University of Oxford, Seoul National University, UC Berkeley, and the University of Chicago.

Keynote speaker Zhiguo He, from the University of Chicago, will discuss the latest developments in China’s pioneering Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), the digital yuan.

Olga Klein, Assistant Professor of Finance at the Gillmore Centre for Financial Technology at WBS, emphasized the role of academia and research hubs in shaping the future of the financial sector: “Having the opportunity to receive real-time feedback on research and products can drive further conversations and explorations, highlighting the importance of knowledge sharing at events such as these.”

The introduction of the Crypto Dashboard by the Gillmore Centre is a major milestone in advancing the collective understanding of crypto assets and portfolio strategies. By offering sophisticated analytics tools in a user-friendly format, the platform is poised to become an invaluable resource for investors and scholars alike, setting a new benchmark in crypto asset monitoring and portfolio management.
