Through these labels we release and promote music and art by groundbreaking artists including Aphex Twin, Flying Lotus, Yves Tumor, Danny Brown, Kelela, Stereolab, Squid, Nala Sinephro, Emma-Jean Thackray, Tinariwen, Sarah Davachi and many more. Job Description
We have a vacancy for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our growing International team. Your role will be to deliver exciting, effective campaigns for our releases in key territories around the world. You will deliver marketing, promotion and retail activities for our artists in specific territories, working alongside our local international distribution and promotion teams.
You will be the conduit of information about our artists and campaigns to local teams and partners, and feed back international successes to our other territories.
The ideal candidate will have a huge passion for music, especially our artists and labels, and the drive to develop a strong career in the industry. They will have outstanding communication skills and attention to detail, and ideally at least a 2-years experience in the industry with a solid knowledge of international music marketing as well as a good understanding of the digital space.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and deliver on commercial targets for our releases in specific territories.
- Oversee international marketing and promotional campaigns, including managing budgets.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of assets, tools and information to our international teams.
- Plan and execute promotional trips, interview schedules and attend big promotional events.
- Reporting on promotion, marketing and sales to relevant internal and external teams.
- Develop direct relationships with key international distributors, promotions agencies, agents, promoters, media and more.
- Help identify new opportunities in international markets for our labels and artists.
Qualifications
- Diligent and great attention to detail.
- Able to balance multiple projects at once.
- A creative thinker and problem solver.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships and work as a team.
- Understand music and how to sell it in the international marketplace: being able to identify opportunities and come up with local ideas to realise them.
- Good standard of English – written and spoken – to able to engage internal and external teams. Fluency in other languages would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the music industry or related field.
- Candidates should be prepared to travel for work when required.
