Spanish carrier Vueling is to expand its operations this winter including the addition of four new routes.
Vueling, which is part of IAG alongside Iberia, British Airways and Aer Lingus, will operate 213 routes across 89 destinations this winter including new services from its main hub of Barcelona to Luxor and Sharm El-Sheikh in Egypt and Rovaniemi in Finland. Another new route will be from Paris Orly airport to Amman, the capital of Jordan.
The airline will also extend several services, which were launched in summer 2023, into the winter season. These include routes from Bilbao to Brussels, Hamburg, Marrakech and Zurich, as well as its Brussels-Seville service.
Carolyn Prowse, Vueling’s commercial director for strategy and route planning, said the airline was committed to “offering attractive international destinations all year round”.
“For this new season, we are continuing to consolidate our leadership position in Spain and to reinforce our international commitment through London Gatwick and Paris Orly,” she added.
