MILAN, Aug 11 (Reuters) – Vivendi (VIV.PA) sees as “positive news” a preliminary deal for Italy to take a stake of up to 20% in Telecom Italia’s (TLIT.MI) landline grid as part of any binding offer by U.S. fund KKR (KKR.N), a source close to the French media group said on Friday.

French media group Vivendi, which is Telecom Italia’s top investor with a near 24% stake, however urged involved parts to open a “serious dialogue” with it, to reach concrete and feasible solutions, the source added.
