Vistara, a full-service carrier announced on Thursday that it will start direct flights from Mumbai to Doha, the capital of Qatar, from December 15. This will be the airline’s 50th destination in its network, which includes both domestic and international routes.

The airline’s Chief Executive Officer, Vinod Kannan, said that the new route will strengthen Vistara’s presence in the Gulf region and enhance its network offering from its Mumbai hub. He added that Doha is a growing financial hub in the Middle East and has significant economic importance.

How to book flight?

Vistara which is a joint venture of Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, will operate four flights a week on the Mumbai-Doha route with an A321neo aircraft. The airline said that the bookings for the flights are being gradually opened on all channels, such as its website, mobile app, and travel agents.

Vistara expanding international network

Vistara is continuously expanding its international network. The airline has recently launched daily direct flights between Delhi and Hong Kong. The inaugural flight, operated by an A321 neo aircraft, took off from Delhi airport on the evening of October 29 and landed in Hong Kong on October 30 morning.

According to data provided by the carrier, Vistara is operating 300 flights per day the airline currently connects 32 domestic and 15 international destinations with a fleet of 61 aircraft, including 46 Airbus A320neo, 10 Airbus A321 and five Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
