She revealed that the verdict of the film’s Tamil version’s special screening has come out to be positive. Sreedhar wrote, “Merry Christmas (Tamil) gets good response from audiences at a special screening in Chennai.”

On the other hand, netizens are also sharing a sneak peek from the movie. A tweet by the official X account of Films and Stuffs shares that “The second half of the #MerryChristmas is such a great watch. For its dark comedy and especially the police station scene in particular.”

As per the trailer, the Vijay Sethupathi starrer will revolve around a mother who meets a stranger and celebrates Christmas with him. However, things get a bit twisted with time when they do not reveal their names to each other. The addition of the dramatic soundtrack and dark visuals further tease a thrilling story.

In other news, during an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Katrina Kaif revealed that her friends and family are excited about her pairing with Vijay Sethupathi. While many are finding the pairing to be slightly odd, Katrina said, “To me, it feels like two actors coming together for a very unusual story.”
