“I have fond memories of collaborating with exceptional individuals and achieving significant milestones at Vertical Systems,” said North.
“Over the past five years, we successfully rebranded the business with a new identity and introduced an innovative suite of products. We established strong partnerships and friendships with our customers.
“However, for the time being, I plan to enjoy some quality family time and eagerly anticipate returning in February 2024. I wish Peter [Healey, Vertical founder] and all the guys at Vertical the very best for the future.”
Prior to taking over as MD at Vertical, North oversaw the group’s travel businesses. Last year, he completed the Abta LifeLike Trek for Good, climbing Morocco’s Mount Toubkal in support of the charity.
