LONDON (Reuters) – Britain’s new job support scheme announced on Thursday is very tricky to cost, finance minister Rishi Sunak said when asked to comment on an estimate of 5 billion pounds ($6.4 billion).

Sunak said at a news conference that full costings of the new scheme would come later. He gave a figure of 800 million pounds for a VAT cut also announced earlier on Thursday.
