A New York appeals court Thursday reimposed a gag order forbidding Donald Trump from making public comments about the law clerk advising the judge in the former president’s civil fraud trial.

State Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron in October first commanded Trump to stop speaking publicly about the judge’s staff after the former president posted a disparaging social-media post about his clerk, Allison Greenfield, a Democrat who has sat directly next to Engoron throughout Trump’s trial.
