The British Retail Consortium and True, a retail and consumer-focused investment and innovation firm, have established a partnership that will give British Retail Consortium members access to cutting-edge technology and promote innovation through True’s experience and network.

In response to this, True has created a new product called Amplify. The partnership’s goal is to assist shops in selecting the technologies that will advance their businesses.

Retail brands are given “a shortcut to technology that is proven to work” by Amplify. The knowledge and experience True has gained from investing in and expanding technology start-up enterprises, its in-depth sector analysis, and technological triumphs with its corporate partners in the retail industry, are the driving forces behind it.

Hush, Warpaint, and other well-known fashion and beauty businesses, as well as the fulfilment platform Huboo and the platform for workplace wellness Unmind, are just a few of the brands in which True has invested and assisted in the growth. Additionally, it works with well-known companies in the sector like Johnson & Johnson and Marks & Spencer.

True co-founder and executive chair Matt Truman said, “Our focus is on democratising access to technology innovation for retail and consumer businesses – helping winning tech to travel farther and wider.”

British Retail Consortium CEO Helen Dickinson added: “Our partnership with True aligns perfectly with the BRC’s purpose of making a positive difference to the industry and our goal to help our members maximise the opportunities presented by digital transformation.”
