Ground transport platform Transferz has appointed Becky Brindle as commercial director to drive growth in the UK.
The Amsterdam-based company, which specialises in offering pre-booked airport transfers, said that Brindle will “spearhead” Transferz’s commercial strategy in the UK and European markets with a “strong focus on driving growth and maximising profitability”.
Brindle has worked in the industry for 28 years including roles at ground transport firms hoppaGo and Holiday Taxis.
Simen Schimmel, chief operating officer of Transferz, said: “Her expertise and experience in the pre-booked airport transfers industry will be invaluable to our team as we continue to drive growth and enhance partner and traveller experiences.
“We are confident that Becky’s appointment will elevate our company to the next level and further establish Transferz as a leader in the industry.”
Transferz uses its B2B platform to connect travel companies with local transfer services covering more than 750 airports, train stations and marine ports. In February, the company secured €6.5 million in new funding to fuel growth across the world.
