Rob-ed the bank
Some fans are frustrated at receiving just £4million for the transfer of Rob Holding.
The defender, who joined the club in 2016 made 162 appearances for The Gunners.
He had been linked with a loan move to both Palace and Luton but has left the club to join The Eagles on a three year deal.
One fan said: “4 million for a big team player is embarassing.”
Another said: “Arsenal does the worst business selling players.”
But most fans will be pleased with the fee, particularly as it is double the £2m they paid for him all the way back in 2016.
Liverpool receive Salah warning
Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has tipped Mohamed Salah to continue playing deep into his 30s but concedes the Egyptian won’t be at Anfield for too much longer.
He wrote in his Mirror column: “My advice though, would be to stay at Anfield longer.
“Mo can help Liverpool get back into the Champions League, he can help them win more titles and more trophies – and they will still be waiting in Saudi Arabia.
“He’ll definitely play on past 36, the age Messi is now, and also Ronaldo, who is 38.
“And if he continues to win things with Liverpool and break all their scoring records, then he’ll become an even greater legend and hero in this part of the world.
“It’s going to be a helluva few days if you’re a Liverpool fan like me… so brace yourself for something mind-boggling this week, Reds.”

“Ajax did, so my choice was quickly made in that regard.”
Joao Felix signing explained
Xaxi has claimed Barcelona swooped in for Joao Felix because he fits his side’s style of play.
He said: “Joao Felix fits in 100 per cent. He is a natural talent.
“He scores and he can make the difference. He’s a versatile player who can operate anywhere in attack.
“These are two players who can help us a lot. We will treat them like any other player.
“We will try to help them be at their best level. It happened with Aubameyang, and he was exemplary.
“We try to make them comfortable and treat them with respect. With a good attitude, everyone will be happy.”
No Kane replacement for Spurs
Ange Postecoglou has revealed Tottenham didn’t sign a direct replacement for Harry Kane as he believes Heung-Min Son can replace the club legend.
Speaking after the club’s demolition of Burnley, the Aussie said: “It’s not exactly why, but it’s one of the reasons.
“I’ve got a picture in my head of what I want the team to look like and I keep saying that we’re still at the beginning.
“It’s about putting all the pieces together and, at the same time, not neglecting what’s right in front of you.
“Sonny, whether he’s playing central or wide, has got all the characteristics. He can play in any system, but the way we play, he’s ideal.”
