European consulting firm Valcon has appointed Thomas Rosenlund as the new Managing Partner of its Nordic division.
In his new role, Thomas Rosenlund leads Valcon’s more than 250-person team of partners and consultants operating out of Denmark (Copenhagen and Aarhus) and Sweden (Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö).
Rosenlund has been with Valcon for two decades, playing a key role in the firm’s growth in the region, and more recently, with its merger and buy-and-build evolution from a Nordic player to a pan-European player with over 2,000 staff in seven countries.
“We have come a long way since we created the Valcon in 2021. At Valcon, we are taking the next steps in integrating consulting, technology and data in value creating cutting-edge solutions for our clients,” said Rosenlund.
“I look forward to continuing my Valcon journey with all my wonderful colleagues in the role as Managing Partner. I am grateful for the opportunity and very excited about the future.”
In his client work, Rosenlund’s primary focus areas of focus are strategy development, performance improvement, and leading large business transformations, such as integration, operational excellence, and performance improvement programmes. A certified senior project manager and 4Sight change leader, he has overseen more than 200 projects spanning diverse industries and geographies, including for some of Scandinavia’s largest organisations.
Rosenlund succeeds the duo Michael Hjortlund and Stig Jessen, with Hjortlund continuing his role as a partner with more focus on client work.
Commenting on the leadership transition, Geert van den Goor, Group Managing Partner of Valcon, said: “We eagerly anticipate Thomas’ leadership as we continue our journey to merge management consulting with technology and data. Simultaneously, we express our gratitude to Michael and Stig for their contributions during their tenure.”
