The Platform at Greer, an entrepreneurship program run by the city of Greer Economic Development Department, announced Sept. 13 it will host its Bootcamp Cohort 11 Sept. 20 and 21 at Greer City Hall.
Held at 301 E. Poinsett St., the two-day program, which will feature classes led by a team of coaches who work with participants to help them take their businesses to the next level, will culminate with a pitch session before judges on Sept. 21 at 4 p.m.
This session’s participants include:
- Fuel Up – Spin-off of existing business with plans to provide Lake Keowee boat owners with a unique dockside fueling service
- Good Car – Startup idea to develop a proprietary artificial intelligence platform to empower consumers looking to buy a vehicle
- Houni’s Italian Ice – Family-owned business with two locations in Greenville County
- Lily Pad – Nonprofit supporting children in foster care with comfortable, safe living spaces while they wait for placement
- Property EZ – Established business expanding with a subscription-based maintenance service to help remote rental property owners with regular upkeep
- Vertical Growth Farming Systems – Startup producing transportable, off-the-grid, vertical hydroponic farms
