There is “no place to hide” as accountability takes centre stage, driven by collaborative efforts by business and government to tackle the energy, logistics and crime crises that beset SA, the Johannesburg Mining Indaba heard on Wednesday.

Mxolisi Mgojo, a mining veteran, and one of the leaders spearheading a logistics work stream made up of both business and government, referred to the recent resignations of Transnet group CEO Portia Derby and CFO Nonkululeko Dlamini in saying: “It is very hot in that place”.
