[ad_1]

After the high viewership numbers of the first film, The Gray Man 2 release date is in high demand. The film focuses on the CIA’s top asset, Court Gentry, aka Sierra Six, aka ‘the Gray Man’. As he uncovers agency secrets, he is forced to go rogue and gets hunted across the globe by several assassins and a psychopathic hired gun, Lloyd Hansen. But after proving his innocence, when will Sierra Six be back?

Here’s all of The Gray Man 2 release date information we know so far and all the details on when it is coming out.

Is there a The Gray Man 2 release date?

The Gray Man 2 release date could arrive by mid-2025.

After The Gray Man posted colossal viewership numbers to become Netflix’s fifth most-watched movie of all time, a sequel and even a spinoff were greenlit. Currently, part 2’s filming hasn’t begun. The Russos stated that they were in the middle of penning down the script in April 2023.

But the WGA Writers’ strike would have certainly delayed the process. So, it’s likely that filming for The Gray Man 2 will begin sometime in 2024. Following that, its release could be expected in mid-late 2025.

This date is an estimation based on the information we have so far. ComingSoon will provide an update to this story once we receive official details.

The upcoming sequel is confirmed to adapt Mark Greaney’s second book in his novel series, “On Target.” It will surely bring back Ryan Gosling as the titular character, and Ana de Armas‘ Dani Miranda is also expected to return. We might also see the likes of Rege-Jean Page‘s Denny Carmichael and Jessica Henwick‘s Suzanne Brewer be brought back. The Russo Brothers will be directing yet again!

Where is The Gray Man 2 coming out?

The Gray Man 2 is expected to come out on Netflix in 2025, if not later.

The official synopsis of the second book titled ‘On Target’ reads:

“Court Gentry, (Gosling) aka the Gray Man, is back – and once again on the run from old friends and foes. Four years ago, Gentry was betrayed by his handlers in the CIA. Now, an old comrade, Russian arms merchant Sidorenko, returns to force him on a mission against his will: kill Sudan’s President Abboud, the supposed trigger for the Darfur genocide. But the CIA has its own plans for Abboud. With his ruthless employers on one side, his blackmailing former friends on the other, and a doomed mission ahead, Gentry would kill just to get out of this one alive.”
