Telekom Malaysia Berhad reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was MYR 3,076.3 million compared to MYR 3,158.1 million a year ago. Net income was MYR 538.2 million compared to MYR 265.2 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MYR 0.141 compared to MYR 0.07 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was MYR 0.14 compared to MYR 0.07 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was MYR 9,126.3 million compared to MYR 9,139.8 million a year ago. Net income was MYR 1,437 million compared to MYR 983.1 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MYR 0.376 compared to MYR 0.26 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was MYR 0.374 compared to MYR 0.258 a year ago.
