TAP Air Portugal to enhance services to Brazil

TAP Air Portugal is strengthening its transatlantic network for summer 2024 including an extra 11 weekly flights to Brazil.

The Portuguese carrier will also add more flights to North America, Africa and European destinations from 31 March 2024.

TAP will offer 91 flights per week to 11 Brazilian cities from Lisbon and Porto during the peak season, including three extra services between Lisbon and Recife taking it up to 10 times per week, while the Lisbon-Rio de Janeiro route will increase from 10 to 12 flights per week.

There will also be more frequencies from Portugal to São Paulo, Belém, Brasília, Natal, Maceio, Porto Alegre and Salvador.

In other moves, the airline is to increase flights from Lisbon to both Toronto and San Francisco during summer 2024, while there will be an additional weekly service between Lisbon and Maputo in Mozambique, which will go up to four times per week next year.

In Europe, TAP will enhance its network to Italy with a total of nine weekly flights being added from Lisbon to Rome and Florence.
