Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) is planning to serve the Dutch city of Rotterdam.

The airline will further expand its route network in the coming 2023/24 winter schedules and will offer its first non-stop service between Zurich and Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

The port city will be served by a six-times-weekly flight from January 22, 2024.

The flight takes an hour and 30 minutes
and from the airport Rotterdam city centre is around ten minutes away by car or 20 minutes by
public transport.

Rotterdam is the Netherlands’ second-largest city and its port is
among the biggest in the world. The port is around an hour’s drive from
Amsterdam and half an hour from The Hague.

Benedikt Escher, SWISS’s head of network management said: “As The Airline of Switzerland, we see it as our mission to provide our customers with an extensive network of attractive air services, and to steadily further develop and refine this in response to their needs.”

The new service is available to book now.

In September the airline announced it will serve Washington DC
and Toronto next year from Zurich.
