INVISTA is seeking a

Strategic Marketing Manager

to join our team. Our Business creates customer focused solutions and products in the propylene value chain that are essential for people’s daily lives. This is an exciting opportunity to proactively drive strategic marketing plans and overall business strategy in partnership with the commercial and technical teams. The role will report to our Sr. Director, Business Development & Sustainability.

The preferred location is in our headquarters in Wichita, KS or in the Central to Northern Midwest region (IL, MN, MI, OH, WI, etc.) near a large airport.

What You Will Do

Own the marketing strategic plans for the Propylene business to strengthen INVISTA’s competitive position and improve business profitability.Lead customer segmentation strategies, collaborating with Strategy & Business Development, Commercial and Technical teams.Leverage customer and market insights to make recommendations to drive business strategy.Collaborate with the production/application development team in assessing customer desirability and advancing innovation efforts.Develop knowledge systems to track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and business results by customer segment.Steward the commercialization of new products and applicationsWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degreePolymer industry experience (preferably polypropylene)5+ years of experience in strategy development, marketing, or communicationsAbility to travel up to 25% of the timeThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorshipWhat Will Put You Ahead

B2B marketing and communications experienceKnowledge of plastic applications and OEMs, such as medical and food packagingExperience in translating value propositions into strategy recommendationsSalesforce.com experiencePlastic sustainability experience
