(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 3 – Stellantis’ earnings were up 14% to
47.2 billion euros in the first quarter, the carmaker said
Wednesday.
This was largely due to greater deliveries and favourable
prices, it said.
Consolidated deliveries were 476,000, up 7% mainly because of an
improvement in semiconductors.
Global sales of electric vehicles were up 22% and remain a
strategic global priority with the launch of a further nine
electric battery vehicles in 2023 to arrive at a total offering
of 47 battery-powered models by the end of 2024, said the
Italo-Franco-US maker. (ANSA).
