SSE and Equinor hone green hydrogen option for giant Dogger Bank’s next step

UK offshore wind developer SSE Renewables has awarded green hydrogen engineering contracts linked to Dogger Bank D, a potential fourth phase of the world’s largest offshore wind farm now under construction in the North Sea.

The contracts were awarded to engineering consultants to support the feasibility and optimisation of a large-scale green hydrogen development option on the project, SSE stated.
