The punching bag has been set up on the side of the railway bridge on the A22 northbound outside of All Bikes on Godstone Road.
All Bikes owner, Nigel Alliano, set the punching bag up to “give fed up motorists a chance to tell Mayor Khan what they think of his money-grabbing plans.”
Cars and motorcycles are now frequently stopping so riders and drivers can give the unsmiling picture of the mayor a whack.
The installation comes just a few days after Khan branded his ULEZ objectors as “far right”, “Covid deniers” and “Tories”.
Nigel said the number of cars and bikes stopping outside his business to give the punching bag made to look like Khan a whack shows the strength of feeling against his plans to penalise car drivers and bikers who cannot afford ULEZ compliant means of transport.
While delivering a knockout punch of his own, he said: “It’s amazing how many motorists of all kinds of vehicles, cars, vans and bikes, are stopping just to give him a whack.”
The News Shopper has contacted Sadiq Khan’s office for comment.
