Tender for Site Characterization Expert Support Soil for Doordewind
Wind Farm Zone
The Netherlands Enterprise
Agency (Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland, RVO) has awarded
BLIX Consultancy (an
AFRY company) as the contractor for soil site characterization expert support
for Doordewind Wind
Farm Zone (WFZ). Together with dGB Earth Sciences and GEO2 Engineering,
BLIX Consultancy is
supporting RVO to provide detailed information on the site conditions at
Doordewind WFZ, which
can be used for the future tendering and development of this area.
The tender called for
a team of experts, including a lead expert to optimize the interface between
RVO, specialist experts,
and future contractors. The expert team will provide in-depth geophysical,
geotechnical, morphodynamical,
and ground modelling expert support throughout the various stages
of the project.
BLIX Consultancy and
their partners are thrilled to be awarded the contract for soil investigations.
Senior consultant offshore
wind, Jeroen Godtschalk: “As we have already been working with RVO
for almost 10 years,
we are excited to continue to move the offshore wind business forward together.
We believe in providing
quality expert support, and our team is ready to bring all their experience
into
the preparations of
this new Wind Farm Zone.”
BLIX Consultancy and
their partners are enthusiastic about collaborating with RVO to guarantee
that
the soil investigations
meet the highest standards. Enabling the forthcoming Doordewind WFZ to
be
developed and operate
in an optimal way will directly contribute to the 2030 climate goals of
the
Dutch Government.
