The Elizabethtown Inn is known for providing bed and breakfast accommodations for the beautiful town of Elizabethtown. The award-winning Elizabethtown Inn makes exceptional guest experiences their top priority. With amenities like spacious parking, free wireless internet, cable television, and even included breakfast. With those perks, you can make your home away from home at The Elizabethtown Inn.
Here at BladenOnline, we spoke with current owner Christine Marais, and she provided us with great insights about the history of the Inn and how she keeps up the standard. Marais mentioned the chain of owners before her and how, originally, the Elizabethtown Inn was home to Colonel John McDowell and a hospital during the Civil War. Established in 1834, The Elizabethtown Inn prides itself on being one of the oldest structures that are still active today. She added that the Inn did not become a bed and breakfast until 2015, and two years later, she became the owner.
Marais explains The Elizabethtown Inn as a bed and breakfast with five rooms, with all five rooms having their names: The Colonel’s Room, Kitty’s Room, Chris’ Room, and Hunter’s Room. Each room comes with its bathroom and has great quality bedding, linens, and towels. Marais adds that the Inn also offers breakfast in the mornings and buffets over the weekend.
The Elizabethtown Inn is located at 105 Cromartie Road, Elizabethtown, NC. If you would like to plan a stay at the Elizabethtown Inn, you can book through their website, https://www.theelizabethtowninn.com, or give them a call at 910-991-3081.
