PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The United States Small Business Administration announced an Economic Injury Disaster for the closure of the Washington Bridge and the availability of loans to businesses impacted.

The administration said that small businesses in Providence, Kent, and Bristol counties in Rhode Island, as well in Bristol, Norfolk, and Worcester in Massachusetts, and Windham County in Connecticut, can apply for the loans immediately.

The loans have a limit of $2 million, a four percent fixed interest rate, and a term of up to 30 years.
