Singapore Airlines (SIA) is to operate flights between Singapore and Brussels for the first time in more than 20 years.

The carrier will offer four non-stop weekly flights on the year-round Brussels route, which starts on 5 April 2024 and will take SIA’s European destinations up to 13 as it looks to “enhance its connectivity to this key region”.

Singapore Airlines will operate Airbus A350-900 aircraft on the route with a total of 253 seats in a three-cabin configuration including 42 seats in business and 24 in premium economy.

Flights from Brussels to Singapore will operate on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, while Singapore-Brussels services depart on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Tickets for the new route will go on sale on Wednesday (13 September).

Dai Hao Yu, acting senior vice president marketing planning at Singapore Airlines, said: “Brussels is an important European economic and political centre, and the launch of this service adds another historical and charming city to SIA’s list of destinations.”
