The latest CLIX Loss List from insurance industry organization Cresta showed that severe convective storms in Northern Italy dominated the third quarter of this year, with an initial industry loss estimate of $2.2 billion, Reinsurance News reported. The storms events were responsible for bringing damaging hail as well as winds to the regions of Piemonte, Emilia-Romagna, Friuli-Venezia-Giulia, Veneto, and Lombardy.
