Trainline data has revealed that travel to France from the UK has seen a 142% increase compared to the same period in 2022, thanks to the excitement around the Rugby World Cup.

According to data from Trainline, Paris is set to see a mammoth 368%2 increase in passengers from the UK, with Scotland set to take on Ireland in the capital on 7th October. The same can be said for Marseille, another host city, which has seen a 15×3 increase in demand for rail travel from the UK.

England beat Argentina in the nation’s opening game in Marseille on 9th September. The increase in demand for trains indicates that all the home nations will be cheered on by droves of dedicated fans.
