An underwriting firm, Sanlam General Insurance, has advised policyholders to use its ‘Code of Confidence *1056#, an option that enables it to pay claims within three hours of reporting an incident.

The Managing Director of the underwriting firm, Bode Opadokun, revealed this at the launch of its new product, saying a claim of less than N200,000 could be settled within three hours.

Opadokun said the new code allows customers access to speedy resolution of insurance claims in cases of road emergencies.

The cutting-edge solution is the first of its kind in Nigeria and it is a way of providing seamless and customer-centric solutions to challenges customers encounter while seeking claims payment.

With the development, he noted, the firm aims to enhance the claims experience for its valued customers by eliminating needless paperwork and unnecessary delays.

“Customers can use the simple and user-friendly code on their mobile phones to initiate instant third-party claims. The process is quick and hassle-free, ensuring that customers receive prompt assistance and support during unexpected events and accidents involving third parties. With this technology, you can see that gone are days of unnecessary delays of claims, as the code runs on any mobile phone,” Opadokun affirmed.
