Samunnati facilitates direct grape export of 275 MT to the Netherlands – Times of India

CHENNAI: Chennai-based agricultural enterprise Samunnati has facilitated farm gate procurement for direct export of 275 MT of Thompson seedless grapes to the Netherlands for the Grapes Season 2023.
The company facilitated farm gate procurement, end-to-end primary processing, cold storage, packaging, certification and export to ensure a seamless value chain, a statement here on Tuesday said.
The procurement of grapes was exclusively sourced from Global GAP-certified farmers within a 100-square kilometre area of the packhouses, guaranteeing the highest standards of quality and safety. From the programme inception in October 2022 to the receipt of final remittance in July 2023, the execution excellence culminated in the successful shipment of 20 containers of grapes, it added.
