Salesforce has appointed Michiel Hustinx (47) as General Manager of Salesforce Netherlands effective April 1. In this role, Hustinx will have day-to-day leadership of the organization and responsibility for growth, strategy and coordination of operational activities in the Netherlands.
In this role, he succeeds Michiel van Vlimmeren, who has decided to focus on new challenges outside the organization.
Hustinx joined Salesforce in 2019 as head of sales in Continental Europe for Marketing Cloud, Salesforce’s marketing platform. For the past three years, he has been responsible for commercial operations of the Salesforce Cloud portfolio for sales, e-commerce, service and marketing, which has grown successfully in the Northern Europe region under his leadership.
Hustinx started his career at Oracle in 2001, where he held various sales and leadership positions and was responsible for the go-to-market strategy, organizational growth and profitability of various business units for local and international regions. Until April 2019, he served there as Group Vice President responsible for the Oracle sales organization focused on the banking and insurance sectors in EMEA.
