Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary has said it is a “scandal” that ongoing strikes by French air traffic controllers are impacting flights over the country’s airspace that are neither departing from nor landing in France.
The airline has been agitating for months over the problems it is facing due to strikes being taken by air controllers in France against plans by Emmanuel Macron, the country’s president, to raise the retirement age to 64 from 62.
