MORE THAN, RSA’s direct-to-consumer brand, has revamped its home insurance business, introducing a new consolidated home product and an improved customer experience.
The transformed offering is relaunching just nine months after the project commenced, done with the support of RSA’s partnerships with ICE InsureTech and Deloitte.
According to an emailed news release, MORE THAN required a modern, scalable platform that could provide rapid product launches, integrate seamlessly with its existing IT ecosystem, and ensure improved security, availability, and cost-efficiency.
MORE THAN also sought a digital policy lifecycle that enables full self-service and supports new Consumer Duty regulations, RSA and ICE noted in their joint release. Key aspects of this part of the transformation included improving overall customer experience with new digital touchpoints, streamlining product offerings, and enabling customers to manage their policies and documents through an online account.
Ronan Buckley, personal lines delivery director at RSA, commented on the project and said the firm went through a “rigorous selection process” in choosing its partners.
“RSA has undergone many policy administration transformations, and the team ethos across many parties made this the fastest successful implementation of a policy system in RSA by some margin,” he said. “This is a great example of how we can work together to achieve a desired outcome, and I would like to thank ICE, Deloitte, Baringa, and Wipro for all their support to get us live and enhance the offering to our customers.”
ICE client services director Lynette Slater also commented on the “accelerated implementation” of MORE THAN’s new home insurance proposition.
“We have achieved strong delivery in a timeframe not seen by MORE THAN’s competitor reimagining the way insurers transform, while cementing a strong partnership,” Slater said.
Mark Patterson, partner and general insurance leader at Deloitte UK went on to highlight the significance of the project in “challenging the norm of lengthy and costly core systems implementations.”
“This implementation was Deloitte’s third successful ICE implementation and will provide RSA with a scalable, flexible, digital platform to drive profitable growth and deliver RSA’s award-winning customer service,” Patterson said.
