December 26, 2023 – The Consulate General of Canada has Rosaline Kwan as the new Consul General of Canada to the U.S Southeast. She arrived in the mission’s six-state territory last month to lead the dedicated team tasked with maintaining the close ties and cooperation between our two nations in this region.
The common priorities include promoting the transition to clean energy; building reliable and sustainable critical mineral supply chains; and advancing diversity and inclusion.
The Consulate General of Canada is commemorating 50 years of representation in Atlanta. Housed at Colony Square in Midtown – the mission covers six states in the U.S. Southeast – Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Having served as a diplomat in New Delhi, Taipei and Beijing and a senior executive in the Government of Canada, Consul General Kwan brings a wealth of experience and diplomatic expertise to this key role and looks forward to building even stronger ties between Canada and the U.S. Southeast. “I am extremely honored to represent Canada in such a dynamic and culturally diverse region,” she stated.
“I am eager to work with our American partners, strengthen economic, innovation and cultural connections, contribute to the prosperity and well-being of both our nations which have a deep and longstanding partnership.”
