France’s antitrust agency Autorite de la Concurrence has fined Swiss firm Rolex SA about $100 million for pursuing an illegal decade-long crackdown on distributors selling its watches online, BNN Bloomberg reported. The regulator rejected justifications from Rolex’s French unit that an online ban was needed to combat counterfeiting and parallel trade.
