THE Angels are not smiling on Robbie Williams, it seems.
His hopes of getting three new business ideas off the ground have all been frustrated.
A source said: “Robbie applied to trademark the names Rude Pump, for a range of energy drinks; Rude Rise, for a wine collection; and Rude Snore, for aids to stop people snoring.
“But all three projects are on hold after they were opposed. It is frustrating, as the delay slows things down for Robbie.
“Hopeium, which is a lifestyle brand Robbie was also putting together, is also under review.”
Not all the objections to Robbie’s ideas have yet been revealed, but two were made by a company called Rude Health Foods.

I have not doubt he will find a way forward, though.
The star has just finished a long run of dates on his world tour and is back in Los Angeles enjoying a slower pace of life with wife Ayda Field.
But he’ll be back on the road next month as he takes his show to Mexico before moving on to Portugal, Israel and Spain.
Being on the move will maybe give him time to think about where he plans to finally settle with Ayda and their four children.
‘I’d live in Bahamas’
He admitted last week he is unsure where he wants to move with his family, after selling his homes in Wiltshire, Switzerland and LA.
He said: “We haven’t decided where we want to live but the question is on our minds. I would like to live in the Bahamas, but my wife doesn’t at all.
“I love the heat there, I love summer, I love beaches and I love looking out on to the sea.
“My wife wishes to live in Italy. But I don’t want to move there.
“We go back and forth on this, we discuss it all the time.
“Paris was a consideration, but I don’t want to go there — it’s too busy for me, the traffic is terrible. And in winter it rains just as hard as in London — which is another place where I don’t want to be.”
Labrinth’s show a ‘Daya to remember
SHE hasn’t performed live for eight years but Zendaya returned to the stage for a surprise performance with Labrinth at Coachella.
The actress was a shock guest alongside Brit singer Labrinth to perform songs from the soundtrack to Euphoria, the HBO series of the same name which Zendaya stars in.
Fans were stunned when the US beauty walked out on stage in a frilly pink dress during his set at the festival in California.
Labrinth, who did all the music for the TV show’s score, sang hits I’m Tired and All Of Us from the series with his special guest.
She wasn’t the only surprise star to come out, with SIA joining Labrinth for their song Thunderclouds.
At the first weekend of the festival – which also saw Blondie perform – the London-born rapper caused another stir by asking Billie Eilish to join him to sing their song Never Felt So Alone together.
Welcome back, Zendaya. And well played, Labrinth.
This will have been a moment he’ll never forget.
Dexter in like rocket
DEXTER FLETCHER was advised to step in to direct Bohemian Rhapsody so he knew what to avoid when filming Elton John flick Rocketman.
The movie maker over-saw the last few weeks on the Queen biopic after director Bryan Singer was fired.
Dexter, who was only credited as executive producer on Rhapsody because of union rules, told The Hollywood Reporter: “The truth was that I’d been involved with Bohemian Rhapsody a couple of years earlier when it was at Sony, with a different actor attached.
“I got a long way through the process. In fact, I was pretty much in the first week of pre-production when it fell apart.”
Eurovision on guard for protest
RYLAN CLARK has revealed that security at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest has been heightened because of threats from the dimwits at Extinction Rebellion.
Speaking exclusively backstage at the launch of the event last week, Rylan told me: “This year is the most organised event. We have been to some Eurovisions in countries where it is not as organised as what we are over here.
“The security at Eurovision is ridiculous.
“I know that we had someone on stage when SURIE repre-sented us back in 2018 in Lisbon, but the security protocols are crazy and it is a steel ring.
“If someone tries it this year then good luck to them. I say, ‘Don’t hurt anyone and don’t get anyone’s dress dirty’.”
I wouldn’t put that past the XR muppets.
Ellie & Cal have Lew in sights
ELLIE GOULDING and Calvin Harris are eyeing up a return to the top of the charts this week with Miracle.
The pair lost their place at No1 in the Official Singles Chart last week to Lewis Capaldi and his song Wish You The Best.
Ellie and Calvin are flying ahead in sales, with David Kushner looking to chart at No 2 with Daylight.
It would be the viral hit’s highest peak in the charts to date.
This could be a huge week for Ella Henderson too.
Her song React with Switch Disco is on course to break into the Top Ten for the first time and currently sits at No 8 in the charts.
Elsewhere, the social media sensation with the daftest name I’ve ever heard, HStikkytokky, is the biggest new entry in the Top 20 as his track Twust with General G at No 11.
The Weeknd and Future are just behind at No 12 with Double Fantasy.
It’s Rock ‘n’ Rome for Nick and Priyanka
WHEN in Rome, most people head out for a stroll and a gelato.
And it turns out Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are no different.
The pair were spotted out enjoying the sights as they turned a work trip to Italy into a holiday.
Priyanka is currently promoting her Prime Video spy thriller Citadel and took a well-deserved break to spend time with Nick.
She was photographed on a date night with the singer in the historic city.
Priyanka wore a black dress and platform heels as they headed for dinner.
I wasn’t as much a fan of Nick’s outfit however, which included a hideous oversized suit which came with a pair of trousers which looked about nine sizes too large.
Next time, Priyanka, I’d give Nick a bit of a hand in the wardrobe department.
Is Mamma Three-a on?
THE director of 2008’s Mamma Mia! is convinced a third film will happen.
Phyllida Lloyd brought the show, based around the music of ABBA, to the West End then helmed the blockbuster starring Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried.
Now she believes musical theatre producer Judy Craymer, who came up with the idea for the original, will make a follow-up happen after the success of 2018’s Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.
Asked about the prospect of a third movie, given they could use new songs from ABBA’s 2021 comeback album Voyage, Phyllida told Bizarre: “It’s very, very exciting.
“Judy, the producer, is an incredible force of nature and I expect she will pull that off.
“These things take a long time . . . sequels are hard and I don’t know what a third one is called, but it is a challenge.
“If anyone can do it, she will.”
The second movie in 2018 featured Cher and grossed more than £300million at the box office.
The group’s digital residency in East London, Abba Voyage, welcomed its one millionth customer last week.
Next month there will be another milestone when it celebrates one year since it opened to the public.
With the stage show set to launch in other locations around the world, there will be plenty of appetite for more Abba for years to come.
AITCH has raised more than £50,000 for the Down’s Syndrome Association by skydiving from a plane at 15,000ft.
The rapper posed with his sister Gracie – the inspiration behind his song My G – ahead of the daring feat, which took place on Saturday.
Aitch was made an ambassador for the association last year and has donated a hefty chunk of cash to the charity from the music video budget from My G, which he released with Ed Sheeran.
Congratulations, Aitch.
Pink to make Lil Nas wink
PINKPANTHERESS scored a No2 earlier this year with Boy’s A Liar and has since been working with another star on what could be her next big hit.
I’ve learned the British singer-songwriter has spent time in the studio in the US with Lil Nas X.
The pair have struck up a friendship and have been exchanging ideas for a potential collaboration.
A music insider said: “PinkPantheress and Lil Nas are both working on albums at the moment and they really clicked after being introduced.
“They have a lot in common and have been in the studio together.
“It is yet to be seen what they have come up with but they’ve certainly been inspiring each other.”
Lil Nas X has had an incredible few years with No1 singles, a No2 album, two Grammys and a sold-out tour.
He has been locked in the studio since his gigs ended at the end of last year and has hinted he is well on the way to completing his second album.
With someone like him on her side, I’m sure PinkPantheress can’t go far wrong.
