Rio Tinto has dodged a cultural heritage bullet, reporting no major damage to an ancient Aboriginal rock shelter disturbed by mine site blasting.
The mining giant had been holding its breath since August 6, when drone footage showed damage to the 40,000 to 50,000-year-old site near Tom Price.
