KUALA LUMPUR: Financial services provider Malaysian Rating Corporation Bhd (MARC) has appointed Rajan Paramesran as MARC Ratings Bhd (MARC Ratings) chief executive officer effective Aug 1, 2023.
Rajan joined MARC in 2008 and was previously chief rating officer since 2014, a statement said today.
It also appointed Hafiza Abdul Rashid as chief rating officer, Badrul Hisham Zawawi as chief commercial officer, and Ray Choy as MARC Ratings chief economist.
MARC Ratings also promoted Sharidan Salleh as senior head of its oil and gas, power portfolio, and Taufiq Kamal as senior head its property, conglomerates, and automotive services portfolio.
“Their extensive experience, industry knowledge, and proven track records will bolster our company and further enhance the group’s transformation journey,” MARC’s group CEO Datuk Jamaludin Nasir said.
“These new appointments reinforce the MARC Ratings team and enhance the group’s competitive edge, reflecting MARC’s commitment to continuous excellence and dynamic expansion,” he said. – Bernama
