Hans von Uthmann has been elected as the new chairman of the Swedish Olympic Committee (SOK) while a survey commissioned by SOK has found that seven out of 10 Swedes would be supportive of a bid for the 2030 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The survey, which was conducted by Kantar Public from April 4-12, includes around 3,300 responses. The results of the survey have been released after the SOK in February announced the launch of a feasibility study into the prospect of staging the 2030 Games.
