MEMBERS of the public are being asked for their input on the proposed changes for the Findrassie housing masterplan.

Consultation from the community is now open and will close at 5pm on Wednesday, November 8.

The plan is being updated to display the policies within the 2020 Local Development Plan.

Moray Council is encouraging locals to get involved and have their say, says chair of the planning and regulatory services committee, Councillor David Gordon (Conservative, Glenlivet).

“The council will use the feedback gathered to develop the final plan, which will go to committee for approval,” he said.

“It is therefore crucial that stakeholders and interested parties voice their thoughts throughout the process.

“This helps to shape the development and stakeholders can see many examples of their ideas having already been included.”

The developments include adding two new sites north of the masterplan to focus on housing and business.

Comments, feedback or any request to speak to council officials can be sent to localdevelopmentplan@moray.gov.uk.

Consultation feedback can also be sent to Moray Council, Strategic Planning & Development, Room 221a, Council HQ, and High Street, Elgin, IV30 9BX.
