SAN FRANCISCO — House Party, the maker of a plant-based spin on cheese dip, is expanding to additional Whole Foods Market stores following a successful launch in the Northern California region earlier this year.
Available in mild and hot flavors, House Party dips are formulated with sustainable ingredients, including carrots, sunflower oil, potatoes, nutritional yeast and tomato paste. The products are free from the top nine allergens, including dairy, nuts and soy. The name is a nod to how cheese sauces originally were marketed as a “party fancy” food, a staple in such dishes as cheesy taters, bean casseroles and crock pot dips, said founder Lauren Joyner, who launched the business five years ago.
The company has tripled its retail footprint since the beginning of the year, rolling out to Whole Foods Market locations in British Columbia, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Idaho, Arizona, Southern California, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Utah, Texas, and Hawaii. Additionally, House Party may be found at other retailers, restaurants, college campuses and sports arenas across the country.
“This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our journey, bringing our brand closer to consumers who value nutritional integrity, quality ingredients and sustainable business practices,” Ms. Joyner said. “The expansion not only extends our market reach but is a step forward in our mission to make responsible and delicious plant-based snack products available to everyone.
