Popular Feng Shui myths that persist

The term Feng Shui refers to an ancient Chinese art and science that harmonizes humans with their environment. It optimizes the flow of energy, or chi, to enhance health, wealth, relationships, and happiness. Misconceptions have emerged amid its rise to fame. Feng Shui is not a religion but a practice seeking balance and harmony through principles like object placement, directional alignment, yin and yang, and spatial layout. It is accessible to everyone and not limited by financial barriers. The practice considers energy flow, balance of elements, and overall environmental harmony. However, it is not a cure-all and cannot solve every issue. Mirrors can enhance energy in a room but don’t possess magical powers. Manipur’s UNLF has agreed to renounce violence and join the mainstream, says Amit Shah

Union home minister Amit Shah announces that UNLF, the oldest valley-based armed group of Manipur, has signed a peace agreement in New Delhi, marking the end of a six-decade-long armed movement. This achievement aligns with PM Modi’s vision of all-inclusive development in the northeast. The agreement will bring an end to hostilities between UNLF and security forces and address the community’s concerns. The return of UNLF to the mainstream sets a precedent for other valley-based armed groups. The Meitei extremist organizations were banned due to the ongoing violence in Manipur.
