NRRP: EU experts’ approach very nitpicking – Giorgetti – English

(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 19 – EU experts’ approach to the
implementation of the massive EU-funded post-COVID National
Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) is very nitpicking, Economy
Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti sadi Monday.
   
He said that “an epic battle is going on between Italian
bureaucracy and European bureaucracy.
   
On the one side, he said, “there is an incredible stress for the
Italian administration, and we are doing our best, but “at the
same time there is an approach on the part of the EU technicians
that is particularly nit-picking.
   
“It isn’t just Italy complaining about this formalistic approach
to everything. (ANSA).
