Norwegian has released its summer 2024 schedule with more routes and frequencies added to its services.
The new routes from Tromsø wil serve Berlin, Paris and Bergamo, Milan and will commence on 15 January.
Magnus Maursund, chief commercial officer at Norwegian said: “Next
summer, more aircraft will be added to our fleet, meaning that we can
launch new routes and add frequencies to our existing route network.”
Norwegian will have around 90 aircraft in its fleet by next summer, of which many are new Boeing 737-MAX 8. The airline says the modern fleet is more fuel efficient, reducing fuel burn and emissions.
Flights between Tromsø and Berlin will operate on Thursdays
and Sundays, while the Paris route will fly on Mondays and Fridays. The
flight between Norway and Italy’s Bergamo, Milan is scheduled to fly on
Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The summer 2024 schedule is now available and has 279 routes split across Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland.
In July Norwegian agreed a deal to buy fellow
Norway-based carrier Wideroe in a deal worth around €100 million
(NOK1,125 million).
